What you get under $600
under $600, you can get genuine Apple Silicon — not an old Intel relic. For everyday users who want the cheapest Apple Silicon laptop, the M1 MacBook Air hits the value mark: fast enough for years of real work, supported by macOS into the early 2030s, and backed by our warranty. Anyone selling a MacBook under $600 without a warranty is selling you the risk, not the savings.
