Trade-In FAQ
How is my trade-in value determined?
We base trade-in values on the current market value of your device and its individual components. Working devices get the highest credit. Devices with cracked screens are valued based on the logic board, and non-functional devices are valued based on the display assembly. Final credit is confirmed after physical inspection.
Do I have to buy something to trade in?
Yes — our trade-in program is designed as a purchase incentive. Buy any refurbished Mac from our store, and you'll see the trade-in offer on your order confirmation page. Your credit is applied as a partial refund to your original payment method.
What condition devices do you accept?
We accept devices in any condition — working perfectly, with a cracked screen, water damage, or even completely dead. The trade-in value varies by condition, but we'll always make an offer.
How do I ship my device?
After you submit your trade-in request, we'll email you a free prepaid shipping label. Pack your device securely (original box is ideal but not required) and drop it off at any USPS location. We recommend adding padding/bubble wrap around the device.
How long until I receive my credit?
Most trade-ins are inspected within 1-2 business days of arrival. Once approved, your refund is processed immediately — allow 3-5 business days for it to appear on your statement. Total turnaround is typically 5-7 business days from when you ship.
