The Apple Store at Legacy Village charges full retail — Cleveland Heights doesn't have to
Cleveland Heights is an inner-ring suburb of about 45,000 with no Apple Store of its own. The nearest one sits at Legacy Village in Lyndhurst, an easy 10–15 minute run out Cedar or Mayfield Road — and that is exactly the problem. Close only means convenient access to full retail pricing: $1,250 for a new MacBook Air, a Genius Bar appointment you booked days ago, and a flat no if you walk in with a cracked or dead Mac. We ship Luxury Certified refurbished MacBooks at 25–40% off Apple new pricing straight to your door in Cleveland Heights — free on every order, with a real person who answers the phone. And unlike Apple, we will buy your broken Mac instead of turning it away.
Why Cleveland Heights residents choose us over Apple refurb
Discontinued models, still excellent
Apple refurb only sells what it currently carries. We stock older M-series MacBooks that are still fantastic machines — often the lowest prices anywhere on Cleveland's east side.
We take broken devices in trade
Apple rejects cracked, dead, and liquid-damaged Macs. We buy them for parts value and apply the credit to your new MacBook — even a dead M1 Air is worth $40–$75.
Whole-machine warranty
If anything fails on its own in year one, we make it right — no shipping yours away for a 3-week repair. The warranty covers the whole machine, and it is honored directly by us.
A real person, not a phone tree
Call (740) 223-5530 and Rick usually picks up. He has been doing this since 1991. You get advice from someone who actually knows the hardware, not a script.
What Cleveland Heights buyers are picking up
Few suburbs anywhere lean on laptops like the Heights. Case Western Reserve grad students and faculty ride down Cedar Glen or catch the Red Line at Cedar–University at the bottom of the hill; residents, nurses, and techs from University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center and the Cleveland Clinic main campus come home to century colonials in Cedar-Fairmount and Forest Hill — the neighborhood laid out on John D. Rockefeller's former estate; teachers across the Cleveland Heights-University Heights district carry gradebooks home from Heights High Tiger country; musicians load in at the Grog Shop in Coventry Village and play summer stages at Cain Park; writers and remote workers fill the coffee shops along Lee Road by the Cedar Lee Theatre; and independent shops line Coventry, Cedar-Fairmount, and the Severance corridor on Mayfield Road. That is a lot of MacBooks. Most Cleveland Heights customers ordering from us grab a MacBook Air — the M1 at $569.99 for everyday use (email, browsing, coursework, hybrid-office work) or the M2 at $974.99 for heavier workflows like photo editing or running a small business. Anyone doing serious creative or development work leans toward the MacBook Pro 14-inch for the bigger screen and sustained power.

Trade in your broken or old Mac
Have a MacBook that did not survive grad school or the kids' homework shift? Get paid for it. We accept working Macs (usually within 10% of Apple's own trade-in value) and — unlike Apple — we also pay for broken ones: cracked screens earn $140–$220, dead Macs $40–$75, priced from real parts value. Ship it to us with a prepaid label and the credit goes straight toward your next machine.
