Gates Mills keeps its 1826 bones on purpose. The white-clapboard village center sits along the Chagrin River, St. Christopher's-by-the-River anchors the historic district, and the Chagrin Valley Hunt Club has run its polo fields and bridle trails here for over a century. Roughly 2,400 people live in the village, and behind the hedgerows there are plenty of MacBooks: executives running home offices off the I-271 corridor, teachers at Gates Mills Elementary and across Mayfield City Schools, Gilmour Academy students, and nurses a short hop from Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest.

The Apple Store is ten minutes away. Here is the honest math
We will be straight with you: Gates Mills may be horse country, but it is not far from anything. The Apple Store at Legacy Village in Lyndhurst is roughly ten minutes down Mayfield Road, and Eton Chagrin Boulevard in Woodmere is not much farther. The drive is not the problem. The math is.
A brand-new MacBook Air runs about a thousand dollars before tax, and Apple Certified Refurbished typically knocks only about 15 percent off. Our MacBook Air M2 is $974.99, roughly half the price of new, and our MacBook Air M1 is $569.99. Both are covered for a full year, whole machine. For most of what a Gates Mills household actually does on a laptop, from email and spreadsheets to Zoom, photos, and schoolwork, the M1 and M2 chips are still exceptional. Drive to Legacy Village for the experience if you like. Buy from us for the price.
