Why Warren residents choose us over Apple refurb
Discontinued models, still excellent
Apple’s refurb store only sells what it currently carries. We stock older M-series MacBooks that are still fantastic machines — often at the lowest prices available to Warren buyers.
We take broken devices in trade
Apple rejects cracked, dead, and liquid-damaged Macs. We buy them for parts value and apply the credit to your new MacBook — even a dead M1 Air is worth $40–$75.
Whole-machine warranty
If anything fails on its own in year one, we make it right — no shipping yours away for a 3-week repair. The warranty covers the whole machine, and it’s honored directly by us.
A real person, not a phone tree
Call (740) 223-5530 and Rick usually picks up. He’s been doing this since 1991. You get advice from someone who actually knows the hardware, not a script.
Built for Trumbull County’s manufacturing & battery workforce
Warren sits at the center of a region reinventing itself around electric-vehicle manufacturing. The Ultium Cells LLC battery plant in nearby Lordstown — a joint venture between GM and LG Energy Solution — along with the GM Lordstown Complex, employs thousands across engineering, logistics, and administration. That kind of work — inventory systems, CAD review, remote access to plant dashboards, technical documentation — runs fine on a refurbished MacBook Pro at a fraction of new pricing, and a lightweight MacBook Air covers email and shift scheduling between buildings. Warren’s roots as the birthplace of the Packard Motor Car Company still show in a local workforce built around precision manufacturing.
Kent State Trumbull & Youngstown State students save more
Kent State University at Trumbull sits right in Warren, with Youngstown State University about 20 minutes east and Eastern Gateway Community College nearby. Students across all three need a dependable MacBook for coursework, engineering labs, nursing clinicals, and remote classes. A refurbished MacBook Air M1 or M2 handles everything a student needs at a fraction of the new price. Pair it with Affirm financing and you’re looking at under $25/month for a machine that lasts all four years — or longer.
We also see a lot of trade-ins from students upgrading between semesters. Ship us your old MacBook from Warren and apply the credit toward a newer model — no appointment, no trip to the mall.
Trade in your broken or old Mac
Ship us your old MacBook from Warren and knock the credit straight off a newer one. We pay for working Macs (usually within 10% of Apple’s own trade-in value) and — unlike Apple — we also pay for broken ones: cracked screens earn $140–$220, dead Macs $40–$75, priced from real parts value. It all becomes credit toward your next machine.

Where can I buy a refurbished MacBook near Warren, Ohio?
LuxuriousComputers in Marion, OH ships directly to Warren. We carry refurbished MacBooks at 25–40% off Apple’s new pricing with a 1-year whole-machine warranty. Free shipping on every order, or call (740) 223-5530 to speak with Rick directly.
Is a refurbished MacBook as good as new?
A Luxury Certified refurbished MacBook goes through a full inspection, professional cleaning, and battery health check. Each one is iCloud-cleared and reset to factory settings before shipping. It works identically to a new MacBook and comes with a 1-year whole-machine warranty — the only difference is the price.
Can I trade in my old or broken MacBook toward a new one?
Yes. Unlike Apple, we accept broken MacBooks — cracked screens, dead logic boards, and liquid damage. We price trades from real parts value and apply the credit directly toward your purchase. Even a dead MacBook Air is typically worth $40–$75 in trade credit.
Do you offer discounts for Ultium Cells or GM Lordstown employees?
Our refurbished pricing is already 25–40% below Apple’s new prices, which covers most plant-employee and contractor budgets without needing a separate discount code. Affirm financing on orders over $300 keeps payments as low as $25/month.

About Warren & Trumbull County
Warren is the county seat of Trumbull County in northeast Ohio, with a city population of roughly 38,000 along the Mahoning River, about 15 minutes northwest of Youngstown. Founded in 1798, Warren is the birthplace of the Packard Motor Car Company, whose legacy is preserved at the National Packard Museum downtown, and the city later became a hub for Packard Electric (later Delphi) manufacturing. Today the region is shifting toward electric-vehicle production, anchored by the Ultium Cells LLC battery plant and GM Lordstown Complex just a few miles away. With no Apple retail store closer than Cleveland or Pittsburgh, many Warren-area residents prefer the savings and personal service of a refurbished dealer who ships direct.
