Wickliffe is the western gateway to Lake County — the first city you hit coming up Euclid Avenue out of Cuyahoga County, with city hall set inside the historic Coulby Mansion overlooking Coulby Park and Lubrizol’s world headquarters anchoring the Lakeland Boulevard corridor. Around 12,700 people call it home, and not one of them has an Apple Store in their county. If you are in Wickliffe and want a MacBook without the new-retail price, we ship refurbished Macs to your door — free shipping, one-year whole-machine warranty.
No Apple Store in Lake County — here is the honest math
The closest Apple Store to Wickliffe is Apple Legacy Village in Lyndhurst — about 15 minutes down I-271 or Richmond Road on a good day, and closer than it is for anyone else in Lake County. We will not pretend that drive is impossible. The real comparison is price: a new MacBook Air starts at $1,250 at any Apple Store. Our refurbished MacBook Air M1 at $569.99 and MacBook Air M2 at $974.99 run the same macOS, take the same updates, and carry a full one-year warranty instead of Apple’s standard 90 days of complimentary support. You save several hundred dollars, and the box shows up at your door in 44092 instead of you circling the Legacy Village parking garage.
Why Wickliffe residents choose us over Apple refurb
- Lower prices than Apple’s own refurbished store. Apple’s certified refurb M2 Air typically lists well above our $974.99 — and their M1 Airs are long gone from the official store.
- One-year whole-machine warranty. Not 90 days, not parts-only — read the actual terms.
- Free shipping to 44092. No minimum, no membership.
- We buy broken Macs. That dead MacBook in the closet is a down payment, not e-waste.

Built for Wickliffe’s lab scientists, teachers, nurses, and commuters
Scientists and office staff at Lubrizol. The world headquarters and research campus on Lakeland Boulevard employ thousands of chemists, engineers, and corporate staff — and a personal M2 Air that boots instantly and lasts all day is a better home machine than any aging work-issued PC. Our remote-work guide covers webcams, docks, and dual-monitor setups.
Teachers at Wickliffe City Schools. The Blue Devils moved into a brand-new all-in-one PK-12 campus in 2022, and teachers there live in Google Classroom, Canvas, and slide decks — a $569.99 M1 Air handles all of it without the district-Chromebook lag. Here is our teacher guide.
Nurses at UH Lake West. University Hospitals Lake West Medical Center is about ten minutes up Euclid Avenue in Willoughby, and nursing shift life is exactly what a fanless M1 Air is built for — silent, cool, and the battery outlasts a 12-hour shift. We wrote a whole guide on the best Mac for nurses.
Students — from Telshe Yeshiva to Lakeland. Wickliffe has been home to the Telshe Yeshiva since 1941, and Lakeland Community College is a straight shot east on I-90. Before you finance a $1,200 laptop on a student budget, read the best Mac for college in 2026.
Commuters into Cleveland. Wickliffe sits right where Route 2 and I-90 meet, about 20 minutes from downtown — an M2 Air disappears into a bag and lasts the whole workday plus the ride home.
Trade in your broken or old Mac
Cracked screen, dead battery, will-not-boot — we buy broken Macs and put the value toward your next one. See what your broken MacBook is worth before you assume it is worthless. Intel machines, water damage, missing chargers — we quote all of it.
Serving Wickliffe and the west end of Lake County
We ship all over Lake and Cuyahoga counties — see our pages for Willoughby, Eastlake, Euclid, and Mentor, or the full list on our locations page.
Frequently asked questions
Is a refurbished MacBook risky? Ours carry a one-year whole-machine warranty — longer than the 90 days of complimentary support a brand-new Mac gets. If something fails, we make it right.
How fast is shipping to Wickliffe? Orders ship free and typically arrive in 2 to 5 business days to 44092.
Can I still get macOS updates on an M1 Air? Yes — Apple Silicon Macs (M1 and newer) are fully supported by current macOS releases, so a $569.99 M1 Air keeps getting updates for years.
Do you take trade-ins from Wickliffe? Yes — broken or working. Start with the trade-in guide and we will quote you.
