The crossroads village — halfway to everything, including the Apple Store
Richfield is the town Northeast Ohio drives through: I-77 and I-271 meet here, which puts the village about fifteen minutes from the Apple Store at Summit Mall in Fairlawn and about half an hour from the east side's store at Eton. Convenient — but a round trip is still a round trip, and the sticker at either counter is the same: a brand-new MacBook Air starts at $1,250.
Here is the shorter trip: a refurbished M1 MacBook Air is $569.99 and the M2 Air is $974.99, shipped free to your door in the 44286 with a full one-year whole-machine warranty. Same macOS, same daily experience, roughly half the money — and the only crossroads involved is your own driveway.
Why Richfield buyers skip the interstate
- Revere-district math. Richfield shares Revere Local Schools with Bath — one of the top-rated districts in Ohio, with a graduation rate north of 99%. Families here already do their homework, and the homework says an M-series Air handles classroom portals, Google Docs, and Zoom identically to a new one.
- A longer warranty than the mall gives you. Apple's standard coverage is one year on a new Mac — and 90 days on most refurbished channels. Ours is a full one-year, whole-machine warranty on every unit, no questions asked.
- No I-77 merge required. Order tonight and it arrives at your door, insured, with free shipping and no minimum order.
What Richfield buyers are picking up — current prices
- MacBook Air M1 13″ — $569.99. The best value in the lineup. Silent (no fan), all-day battery, perfect for anyone whose day lives in a browser.
- MacBook Air M2 13″ — $974.99. The one most people should buy: newer design, brighter screen, MagSafe charging, and years of macOS updates ahead of it.
- Mac mini M2 — $897.99. The home-office desk machine. Pair it with any monitor and keyboard and you have a fast, quiet workstation for a fraction of an iMac.
- MacBook Pro 14″ M1 Pro — $899.99. For photo and video work, big spreadsheets, and anyone who wants the Liquid Retina XDR screen and extra ports.
- MacBook Air M3 15″ — $1,280. The big-screen Air — the closest thing to a new-Mac experience on this list, still under Apple's 13-inch starting price.

Built for Kinross Lakes commuters, Revere families, and the town that once hosted the Cavs
The Kinross Lakes office park. Richfield's quiet corporate campus houses the likes of Charles Schwab Retirement Plan Services and Davey Resource Group — hundreds of professionals whose workday is spreadsheets, dashboards, and video calls. Our remote-work guide makes the case that a Mac mini M2 at $897.99 plus the monitor you already own is the sharpest home-office setup in the village.
Revere students and teachers. The district's classwork runs in a browser, and the $569.99 M1 Air runs a browser flawlessly. Our guide for teachers and our college rundown both land on the same answer: the Air, refurbished, with the leftover money kept in your pocket.
A little history. This is the village where the Richfield Coliseum stood — the Cavs called it home for twenty years before the building came down in 1999 and the site went back to meadow at the edge of Cuyahoga Valley National Park. Forty thousand daffodils still bloom every spring on the Furnace Run trail. Towns that trade an arena for a meadow understand value that lasts — which is the whole argument for a tested, warrantied, one-owner-away Mac.
